So my current computer's on its last leg but hasn't had any major malfunctions yet. However I came back from shopping today to find that my desktop icons had broken themselves. Nothing else I have found altered except that and I hadn't been running anything while I was away.
I checked my graphics settings and theme settings and I didn't notice any changes, does anyone know the primary cause of things like this?
