I'm not from Vegetaria, or anything, but can they eat pudding? It contains gelatin, which is why I'm asking.
Vegans can't, I can imagine that vegetarians can. Depends on the person really. [editline]10:20PM[/editline] [QUOTE=zeebiedeebie;20178628]I'm not from Vegetaria, or anything, but can they eat pudding? It contains gelatin, which is why I'm asking.[/QUOTE] They can also eat vegemite.
They can eat everything, they just don't want to. But I guess gelatin doesn't count as proper feeding from an animal so yes.
Pudding contains milk which comes from cows. Stealing milk from cows is a travesty, and humans should therefor not consume it. :downs:
Gelatine is made from boiled animal muscle. That may answer your question.
There are different levels of vegetarianism. Many vegetarians are poorly informed, and don't even know about gelatin, and all that. Those that do may or may not refuse to eat gelatin. vegetarians are stupid
What sort of 'pudding'? Pudding could mean anything. [editline]10:54PM[/editline] Also, most vegetarians won't eat gelatin. I'm not vegetarian, and I find the thought of it gross, I don't like eating gelatinous candy, it seems wrong. Sweet things made out of boiled pig skin? No thanks. If I want to eat meat I'll have a steak.
no you can that shit is full of meat another great thread from zeebiedeebie
i'm a vegetarian and i'll eat gelatin, although i don't like most stuff with it in anyway so the point is moot
Wait, what? Pudding just means dessert.
Depends on the pudding brand. Home made pudding contains no gelatin and gets its consistency from flour or other thickeners (such as starches). If in doubt check the back of the box. Commercial products may contain gelatin as it tends to keep its consistency longer.
