The real question is have you bought any shark cards and how many have you bought?
Absolutely 0. None of us have ever considered buying them. Most of the time I didn't even know where to find the cards. My friends and I have earned millions and been given millions by hackers and such so we got some cool tools over the years. I can say we all earned our ranks fair and square
I'm sure Skyrim will beat it once it's released about 20 more times.
no surprise, its on the current gen and previous gen consoles, gta is a name EVERYONE knows (for better or for worse), and it's pretty easy to play and get into. plus they advertised it on the side of every bus, billboard and building like 2 months before it even came out.
It's an above average game that came out at the perfect time. Just before the new consoles, so it hit everything, and they were cool enough to improve it for the new consoles and PC release. So some people bought that shit 3 times

oh man, and i have 1970 hours on PC, idk how much i had on PS3. Can't believe people are still buying this like hotcakes
Honestly it was fun to play the story and a bit of multiplayer, but that it just became boring for me. I bought PS3 version and I still regret it. I dont know if I have 20 hours total.
85+ million copies sold yet wants to push microtransactions further
There is a good game within GTAV, it's just that the multiplayer component is burried under sharkcards now.
