God damn it newegg, start shipping internationally already :argh:
God damn it newegg, start shipping internationally already :argh:
Hm, I thought they did? At least to Europe...
Hm, I thought they did? At least to Europe...
They don't
Does Newegg.com ship internationally? Newegg.com does not currently ship internationally; we only deliver to locations within the United States and to Puerto Rico.

They don't
Well that's retarded.
Hopefully they'll get their minds together at some point, and start shipping to us europeans. They could just set up a deal with UPS about discounts for large shipments, or even better, open an european newegg.

It's stupid of them not to. Just like it's stupid of Southwest Airlines to not fly internationally. They'd be the most popular airline in the world if they did.
Surely small receiver = small antenna so it won't pick up signal particularly well?

But that's just a guesstimate, since I know fuckall about how newegg operates their warehouses & administration

But it's too expensive. Look at the free shipping on some large cases, It already costs newegg like 20 bucks, and to ship to europe that would cost about 100 dollars. It's not just as simple as boom european newegg, it'll cost them millions to set a up another store in europe.

But in the long run would opening a department in Europe most likely be profitable. But they'll need to invest money in both building up a stock, space to keep the goods, people for the local administration and handling of the goods and advertising. And with the wound of the recession slowly healing, now is probably not a good time to do such a investment. I have a bluetooth radio around that size and its range is pathetic
God damn it newegg, start shipping internationally already :argh:
I wouldn't really be any cheaper because of all the tax we get here. That's the main reason for the price difference

Dad bought a bluetooth one for 1€ from e-bay. Shipping included.
Sold out :sigh:
You can buy a very similar one on eBay or other Chinese shops for about $8, which was the same one that I've used for my X360 mod, and works just as well. http://www.buyincoins.com/150m-wifi-usb-wireless-network-lan-adapter-card-802-11n-miniusb-product-2464.html
The 360 is a Microsoft device, what do you think?
You're going to confuse him for a "yes", because he would most likely think that Microsoft made Windows, and Windows have drivers for most devices out there.
I have a bluetooth radio around that size and its range is pathetic
Bluetooth in general doesn't have a very good range. At least compared to most other wireless standards.
Bluetooth in general doesn't have a very good range. At least compared to most other wireless standards.
Bluetooth doesn't need a long range, it's meant for headsets, and similar devices, it only needs a few feet, but it works up to 30 or so.
