So recently I've bought an ASUS laptop, and it has this cool feature built in called 'express gate,' which is a separate OS with limited features that boots in roughly 10 seconds (useful for quick internet browsing.)
Anyways, I've been using the express gate a lot more recently and noticed that there is no java (but does have flash player 10) built in when i wanted to play a quick game of Minecraft. After browsing through my C drive, I noticed that there is a folder titled Splashtop, which is the browser that express gate uses. Is there any possible way to install java into it?
P.S. GOOGLE DID NOT HELP :saddowns:
I'm sure it's possible somehow, but it's linux based, and Minecraft barely - if at all - works on a real version of linux, honestly.
bump, no help as of now recieved.
no
and with no persistent memory it's really not worth it
I have an ASUS mobo, the express gate is nice but it's meant to be express. You aren't supposed to put a burden on it. Installing java on it would cause it to lag extremely badly. Oh and yeah, it's not really that possible because of what Roo-kie said, no memory.
Would've been a nice feature, thanks for the help.
