Brutal Legend deserves a sequel. I'd even accept a remake that actually has the last third of the game, instead of going from the penultimate boss straight to the final boss with just a cutscene.
I'd also nominate Dark Messiah for a sequel or spiritual successor. Dishonored definitely took a lot of its ideas, but it also slimmed it down into a straight stealth game, not a full-options-available action-RPG.
I really do agree with Far Cry 2. The driving while looking at the map thing was completely brilliant. It's that kind of immersion that a lot of games today don't have.
And Fez 2 because holy hell there was a lot to that game. Making another one, even if not Fez 2, would be great.
How about sequels that were actually in development, but the devs went bankrupt, like the sequels to The Thing(2002) or Call Of Cthulhu Dark Corners Of The Earth(2005). Interestingly enough, British studios have a very high tendency to go bankrupt.
Her story and Fez, with no half life on the list
journalist's opinion discarded
I'm still waiting for a sequel for Freelancer, i refuse to die until i've played it.
Startopia and The Movies.
I would give one of my legs for sequels to those games.
no commander keen, no half life, no dungeon keeper, no clive barker's undying, among many other old classics that deserved sequels.
Freespace 3 please.
Fokin mercenaries 2 mate

Dungeon Keeper had War For The Overworld which imo was pretty darn close.
Orcs Must Die 3
Unchained is okay at best, but I'd much prefer they just took the characters they made in that and have them playable in an actual sequel.
Star Wars Jedi Knight needs another sequel. Please.

And one of the games is Far Cry 2 because the later games are ignored for having a different setting.
Command and Conquer 3 deserves a real sequel.

To add to this, we need a proper sequel to thief 3 which wasnt thi4f: the decline project
No jedi outcast or academy, shit article and the writer has bad taste.

Not even System Shock 2.
Still waiting for a new Vampire: The Masquerade game, please?
I'm gonna have to agree on far cry 2. The African setting had so much potential.
A sequel to crysis 1
Gonna second Dark Messiah. Still one of the best first person melee combat games around and considering how old it is now, kind of a shame.
:snip: i'm blind
hl2 ep 2 sequel
where is my ricochet 2 gabe
Psi-Ops 2.
Give it to me.
Why the fuck is Her Story on the list? It's a complete story that, as a concept plays out as much as you could enjoy it. If it were any longer, you'd be tired of it
I'm mostly confused about endless legend - considering it's still being patched.
no mention of fallout
i want a real sequel
