A while back my friend wanted me to jailbreak his iDevice. He was too lazy to back up his apps himself, so he gave me his apple id information to do it for him. Somehow my own iPod touch has detected his id as mine (I didn't even have this one at the time.) Now there is an app in the app store that we both have, and it's asking me for his login information to update it from my iPod. (he's changed it since then.) Is there any way I can force it to use my apple id and permanently remove his from being tied to my account? Thanks in advance!

EDIT: I put this here because the link to technical support in the "Trolls, Read This" thread was invalid.
EDIT 2: Issue resolved by deleting app from iPod as well as from iTunes and redownloading in iTunes whilst signed into my account.
