I didn't even know there were any console ports
I played Sanctum 1 and it was kinda boring. Is Sanctum 2 any better?
“Since the consoles weren’t able to deliver the game we wanted them too, the game had to take some hard punches,” explained Aspeby. “Limitations on how many enemies we could have and introducing a tower cap wasn’t something we wanted to introduce, but were forced to since we couldn’t release a different version of the game on Steam.”
...who thought this was a good idea?
I like these guys, they made Goat Simulator and have a good view on piracy. You want to sell as many games as possible but we mainly see the pirates as people who wouldn’t have bought the game initially anyways.
It's a shame they took such a hard knock on consoles, you live and learn though.
I played Sanctum 1 and it was kinda boring. Is Sanctum 2 any better?
Depends what you are really going for. Sanctum 1 is treated more like a traditional Tower Defense game, with you being more reliant on your towers while Sanctum 2 focuses more on the FPS aspect with perks, more powerful weapons, a tower limit and so on.
I fucking love sanctum 2 so much, but it's a built-for-coop title. Don't get it if you don't have friends who have it.
