Really worried this is just going to be another half-baked ubisoft title. Gonna hold off until the reviews come out.

Nice lmfao, way to block off a massive portion of your audience by not making it available in the US
I could get around this easily, but I'd rather just go "guess I'm still not going to make any plans to buy it yet"
Looks pretty fun to me.
Kind of weird though, why make the game third person, if aiming puts you into First anyways?

You can toggle between ironsights and third person like MGSV. In fact, this whole game is giving me a whole lot of MGSV vibes, the stealth gameplay looks very similar.

Oh right, I forgot about MGS doing that
This looks good to me. Cant wait honestly even thought its purely build for co op. I can see myself playing this solo if I have to.
Getting a Far Cry 4 vibe from this. Great game, but too big for it's own good. Things got very repetitive. I'd love to be wrong about this though, it looks pretty fun.

the only thing that it resembles farcry 4 from is the how the MAP menu looks like.
Sorry, I probably could have worded what I meant better. Gameplay etc. doesn't look the same, just the scale of the game might impact it negatively, just as Far Cry 4's scale did. Some people like huge open world games despite the repetitiveness though, I'm just hoping they've made a game that doesn't get old when you're only half way through.
This game honestly looks like what MGSV should have been, with its open world at least.
It looks kind of a bit meh, but amazing when you throw Co-op into it. Can't wait
Honestly was a lot of fun but buggy in the closed technical beta. It was everything I hoped MGSV to be.
Ooo, you can fly the helicopter, that should keep things fresh. I'm really sick of the 3rd person cover shooter formula of shoot until red, hide for a few seconds, then repeat

Jeez, this game looks like pre-release Crysis.

I mean it's Ghost Recon. That's never been the point of it and hopefully it never will be.
Does anyone know if they'll have those co-op missions the old games had?
Where you can play with a friend and have to clear out the entire area of baddies they put you in.

Terrorist Hunt? Man I put probably a couple thousand hours into Rogue Spear/Ghost Recon/Raven Shield's terrorist hunt multiplayer. Loved it. Vegas' terrorist hunt sucks monkey dick and works completely different from the previous Tom Clancy titles

But that's kind of what the whole game is. There's a bunch of outposts in the world that you'll probably have to clear out, that's basically the same thing.
After playing the division I am really scared that this game will be garbage
In the video it looks like he puts one shot into the enemies and they drop almost instantly whereas he takes like 50 shots and doesn't even die
I was really hoping for a game that was actually going to be a challenge (in that enemies don't die instantly but also aren't bullet sponges, and also that the player doesn't have 1000 health, guns with actual recoil) and would a great, tactical co-op experience.
From the video it looks like the division but with less RPG elements imo, which isn't a good thing

It is a dev video, they're going to have God Mode on.
Looks uninspired honestly. I'm kind of sick of this whole "play it however you like" design philosophy because when every choice is right and no choice is wrong everything feels easy and flattened out.

It'll probably have a "realistic" difficulty like a lot of TC games have.

Future Soldier.

Didn't realize one game set the tone of a whole series.

It showed where they thought the series ought to go. They already veered towards that territory in GR2 and the console versions of GRAW.

God mode + playing on easy
asdf
Does that mean that because Metal Gear Rising came out at one point that the Metal Gear franchise was no longer about Tactical Espionage Action/Operations?

The main difference between MGR and Future Soldier is that Future Soldier isn't a spinoff, as pointed out two posts above you, it indicates where Ubisoft is taking the franchise. I honestly don't think they will go back to the low health no-regen style of GRAW and the original GR, I think the gameplay of Wildlands is going to be build upon GRFS, which was much more action based than the rest of the series, even when playing on the realistic difficulty option (which the major change was that you couldn't move while cloaked, the rest is pretty much the same but with higher damage received)
