I ask because I still have the default cooler that came with my Q8200 and I figured I should probably get something better to keep the temp down. My friend recommended me this:

But said I should get a backplate because it's really really heavy. I don't want to take out the motherboard to install the new heatsink though, so that's why I'm asking for a good lightweight heatsink that doesn't need a backplate
Anyways LGA 775, thanks :D
Be a real man and take the mobo out

90 CFM/19 DB is one hell of a deal.
Most case fans will be relatively the same, But if you can, buy white ones because they look very nice in your case while spinning.

Hehehe when I built my PC I opted to save on atleast some parts, like the case. I have this ugly thing right here

So fan LEDs are pretty pointless. Now there's going to be weird green light coming out of those gill things O_O

Why does the blue LED version of that same fan have a worse airflow but the red one has the same? Maybe I'll get the red one since my computer has blue LEDs and red would probably go better with it

That case isn't ugly. It isn't the best looking, but it sure looks a hell of a lot better than (insert generic windowed case with blue cathodes here).

I ordered an 80mm fan to go in that top circular mesh thing, it went to waste. You can see the heatsink is RIGHT there. I'm just glad it fit. Also musta left the blue LEDs unplugged in the front, I'll plug them in next time I tun my computer off... which is never
