Hello ladys and or gentleman, I am wondering which mac laptop is the best and or easyiest for exchanging RAM ? And where can I get it's RAM? Thanks .
If you want a gaming PC/Laptop, even the most expensive Mac won't match up to the gaming performance of a non-mac PC/laptop. If you really do want a Mac however, the gaming performance will not just be dependent on the RAM. It'll also be dependent on the CPU and mostly the GPU. The macbook air's have intel graphics which will not be very good for delivering high quality graphics. You'll want to be looking into one of the macbook pros
Having owned and gamed on a mac and a PC rig, I'd suggest that you use your money on a less expensive macbook and perhaps a console and a monitor, because you won't be able to play the latest games on your macbook, no matter which one you get (compatability issues)
Trust me on this: Macs aren't good for gaming. The graphics cards are shit, and compatibility is terrible. I can play maybe a quarter of my Steam library on a Mac, and that's just because I have most of the Indie Bundles. Big-name games, you'll have Valve's post-HL2 games, Psychonauts, DNF, some of the Assassin's Creeds, Civilization 5, and Torchlight. That's honestly every "real" game I can play from my library of 200+ games. And if you're just going to slap Windows on it, just get a Windows computer anyways. Asus makes some damn good laptops - an N5x is cheaper AND more powerful than a Macbook Pro. You'd be sacrificing a bit of battery life and portability, but for mixed gaming/regular usage, they're great (wouldn't recommend them to non-gamers, but you're asking for a good gaming laptop). The only Mac laptops I would even consider for gaming is the higher-end 15" Macbook Pro. And that's over two grand for a rather weak gaming experience. Even upgraded as much as it can be, it's mediocre, and at nearly three grand, honestly a complete rip-off. Even if you're spending someone else's money, I can't condone that.
Gaming Mac Choose.
I agree with djjxbox360. Pc is really better for gaming.I get bummed out when I see games like Oblivion game of the year addition for $4.99 on steam because its not OS X or OS compatable. But if you do end up getting a Mac book Pro or another OS X operating system I will leave a link for the RAM http://www.newegg.com/Store/SubCategory.aspx?SubCategory=551&name=Mac-Memory
