• Microphone echoing in any program I run.

I've had this mic(Logitech Clear Chat Style) for a while now. When I built my new computer, I noticed that my mic wasn't working at all. It echos badly, even if I change the volume setting of the mic down low. Either I can barely hear anything, but it works perfectly fine, or I can't speak for the echos, but I can hear fine. I'm using VIA HD Audio drivers(built onto the motherboard) - version 6.0.1.9400(Driver,package version is 9.4.00.30) - which is what I believe is the currently released version of the drivers. The only thing that might affect it is my internet speed. My upload speeds are really low, preventing me from broadcasting any internet game on high quality or HD. But that wouldn't make sense, as I was on my old ISP(that allowed me to broadcast any game I wanted on HQ), and the mic still had problems. Any help appreciated. I've been fiddling around with the controls for weeks now, and so far nothing has changed.
In the sound control panel, there should be some feedback removal options there.

Installed whatever driver updates?
Installed whatever driver updates?
I'm apparantely using the latest driver update. I went back and installed the driver version that came with my mobo's install CD and that seems to fix the problem a bit, but once again either my headset has to be low in volume or the mic does. [editline]6th June 2011[/editline] Seems to work fine in Vent/Teamspeak, now to try it in TF2. [editline]6th June 2011[/editline] nope, still crappy in tf2
you play with speakers on?
I recommend turning off all "enhancements" and any microphone boosts. Then turn down the level till you sound normal via the microphone properties panel. I've noticed a great improvement in sound quality when i've done that.
