hi, i briefly saw a thread on here about 3 months ago, it was someone promoting something that relays your connection to other people with it, a bit like Tor but faster or something.
Thanks
There's a couple bazillion software solutions for that.
If you just need something to get your general Internet going, VPNs, SOCKS proxies, and shit like that cover that.
Then there's of course the darknets, like CJDNS, Freenet etc.
He means the darknets. I think it was you who made the thread about it too.
It also made graphs or some shit like that about people who were connected to it etc.
If he means that thread, here it is:

I haven't been participating ever since my VMware server decided to shit on itself and I've been too lazy to fix it.
Looks like the map of the network has changed file format, it's now located at http://static.thefinn93.com/cjdns/map/map.svg
Main difference between Tor and CJDNS is that Tor has exit nodes and you can get to the Internet through them, the Hyperboria network doesn't have those by default.
Sure, some people are probably running some open proxies on their nodes that you can access, but I wouldn't count on it, and it's still pretty damn alpha from what I've heard.
