Then where the fuck is 2143?
But does it matter to you, a Battlefield player, whether or not the series outsells Call of Duty?
The only thing I care about is getting a good Battlefield game. This rivalry shit is obnoxious.
Battlefield - Good with friends. CoD - Good as a lone wolf. Goodluck.
why can't they just co-exist? why does one need to be better than or topple the other? there are qualities in battlefield that i dont look for in a call of duty game and vice versa. theyve separated themselves so far from eachother now that i don't even see them as competition. like, not every war shooter game is competition to the other war shooter.
WHY CAN'T WEEE BE FRIENDS WHY CAN'T WEEE BE FRIENDS
But does it matter to you, a Battlefield player, whether or not the series outsells Call of Duty?
No because I play both because they provide different experiences.
If we do not end this war, war will end us
This is just a fucking stupid mindset...
Then where the fuck is 2143?

It turned shitty when you tried to make it more about deathmatch then war.
Hi, you both are the minority. Making either of those games would generate less sales than Battlefield 4/5/whatever and go against this idea of "we need to beat CoD!!"
EA exec trying to stir things up I remember DICE employees enjoy CoD and see it more as a comradery in the industry rather than competition also in the current gaming market I full well believe BF2143 would generate a shitton of sales, but still not as much as the modern warfare junk since that's what attracts all the casual college dudes
He has a point. Competition is good. BUT as long as you try not to modify your game to tailor more to a newer fanbase and less to your older.
Battlefield - Good with friends. CoD - Good as a lone wolf. Goodluck.
I play both games as a lone wolf, but with Battlefield I have the option of joining a squad of random people and some times we actually work together.

They might end up working there a year later after the next project is done. Professional game devs move around a lot.
Remove tiny DLC. Remove Origin. Remove Battlelog. Done.
As long as you continue to make Battlefield better and not Ape CoD, I think a drive to be the best is great. The issue is that Battlefield from the Bad Company series up until BF3 has been focusing more on infantry combat, and while that was something the series desperately needed after BF2's awful shooting mechanics, things like Air-Ground Balance, class balance, and squad/team play suffered. It's easy to be cynical and say that weapon handling, gun unlocks, and camo were all to be more CoD like. With the return of Commander, squad based unlocks, and a focus on sea combat in BF4, it seems that they are taking the series back on track in those departments. It all depends how BF4 and it's DLC actually plays though.
No because I play both because they provide different experiences.
True, but recently they've been becoming more and more similar. I didn't really enjoy Battlefield 3 that much because it didn't feel like the other games.
Remove tiny DLC. Remove Origin. Remove Battlelog. Done.
Battlelog - in my opinion - is actually quite good.
Battlefield - Good with friends. CoD - Good as a lone wolf. Goodluck.
I like both with friends, but CoD is much more conducive to playing alone.
Remove tiny DLC. Remove Origin. Remove Battlelog. Done.
Origin is actually rather nice. Literally less obtrusive than Steam in nearly every way.
Origin is fine. I'd have more complaints about Battlelog if previous Battlefield server browsers were any better. I think it's just part of the game that DICE will never get a grapple on.
The original call of duty and the original battlefield were LITERALLY TOTALLY DIFFERENT GAMES. What in the fuck is EA DOING?!?!
The original call of duty and the original battlefield were LITERALLY TOTALLY DIFFERENT GAMES. What in the fuck is EA DOING?!?!
It has also been 10 years since Call of Duty and 11 years since Battlefield: 1942. Generally games will innovate and change the more time goes on. Both have changed into something that hardly resembles their original form.
The original call of duty and the original battlefield were LITERALLY TOTALLY DIFFERENT GAMES. What in the fuck is EA DOING?!?!
Call of duty makes money, EA likes money. thus make game more like call of duty = make more money

Hey EA, how about Quality over Quantity?
They certainly toppled CoD in the wub department. vs Are you even trying Activision?
Then where the fuck is bad company 3?
Fixed
I play both games as a lone wolf, but with Battlefield I have the option of joining a squad of random people and some times we actually work together.
I try to do that but there's to voice chat. It hasn't even been patched in after two years b
