Considering it takes place in San Francisco it might just be a matter of it being more authentic than it needs to be :v:
Wasn't into it in the first one, and still not into it. Personally I don't find any joy in a 'hacking' mechanic initiated through a smart phone. I mean I did get my hands on the first one for a while and I've never been so underwhelmed. I've entirely given up on ubisoft released games.
The gameplay sounds really cool Too bad about the characters
So just like any Ubisoft game lately?
Glad to see that Ubisoft has got the soulless feel down to a tee and still going strong with it.
Just like Watch dogs 1. They didn't learned anything i guess, welp..

But the focus on improving the gameplay came at the cost of even remotely caring about the story. It's like Ubisoft can't seem to care for both anymore, combined with the reusage of their same general game styles leading to an excess of games that play similarly with some different focus and theme that ultimately seems arbitrary..

Wow, an established publication being negative about a big-budget game release before launch. You don't see that often.
i don't even know what it is but almost every game i've played by ubisoft in the past probably, idk, 4 years or so, just feels empty. like there might be tons of content, but it all feels pointless and nothing compels me to keep playing. i end up selling, trading, or giving away any of the games before i finish them. i think the last game i actually finished and enjoyed by them was Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
