What the fuck. why?
Now that's just dumb.
Awaiting mod that patches the new stuff into the PC version.
called it
"then we decided it would be hilarious if we didn't release it on the platforms where the complaints originated from"
Well this sucks. I would've loved to have seen it on PC. I mean, why not?
We better get Human Defiance then. I'll even take the original DX with HR's gameplay.
"We really wanted to take this opportunity working on the game again to just change what was ehh, so-so with the game and bring some new features to the game."
How is that an excuse to not fix the other versions?
I'd understand it if they delayed it so people at least consider buying it for WiiU, but not porting at all strikes me as silly. Maybe less silly on consoles that charge for updates, but that's not an issue on PC/Steam, is it? I mean aside from tweaks and fixes and stuff like audio commentary and New Game + this content also includes two new hubs made from scrapped content as well as the boss fights that were probably the most commonly heard gameplay issue. That's quite a bit.

First Human Defiance april fools joke now this. Stop messing with my emotions Eidos Montreal :(
I hope this doesn't cause The Fall of Deus Ex. [sp] [/forcedpun] [/sp]

Why fix it on a console nobody even gives a fuck about and where it didn't even exist in the first place, when all the other platforms where the game exists were the ones with the complaints? Theres no fucking excuse for it. You could even make it dlc or something, but leaving it out of every other platform and shipping it on a consold nobody cares about and where it wasnt in the first place is just being a whole level of retarded. A level only shown by devs who are marked for life with a very bad mistake. It just doesnt makes sense and will just piss people off.
It doesn't include new hubs, it just has revised boss battles, AI, graphics, all of the DLC and WiiU controller capabilities.
It doesn't include new hubs, it just has revised boss battles, AI, graphics, all of the DLC and WiiU controller capabilities.
That seems even sillier to keep it console exclusive.
Fuck you too Eidos
It doesn't include new hubs, it just has revised boss battles, AI, graphics, all of the DLC and WiiU controller capabilities.
Even worse then.
Fuck you too Eidos
You're tearing me apart, Eidos!
Saw this coming from a mile away
That seems even sillier to keep it console exclusive.
With the boss battles I suppose, but I think that only means they're making them easier to do for people on pacifist playthroughs, even though boss 1 is solved by lots of grenades or the environmental objects, boss 2 just requires a lot of Typhoon and boss 3 requires the grenade launcher (which every player will probably have due to all the DLC being bungled in). The AI and graphics are either minor corrections/improvements/optimization.

I don't why anyone was expecting it to be ported across. The game originally out over a year and a half ago; when was the last time you heard about DLC that came out for a game this old that isn't an MMO or F2P?
Minor corrections can be applied though a patch.
Are you going to play the game again on PC just to witness what might end up being the most insignificant of changes?
I don't why anyone was expecting it to be ported across. Counter Strike Source comes to mind, Battlefield 2 and Borderlands 1 (the whole steamworks patch). It's just seriously lame.
Are you going to play the game again on PC just to witness what might end up being the most insignificant of changes?
It would be nice to have my stealth character not need to carry around an RPG just for three parts of the game being a massive difficulty spike, and for the animation to not seem wooden.
Are you going to play the game again on PC just to witness what might end up being the most insignificant of changes?
They didn't make it sound like it was insignificant tbh.
fuck thats bullshit
I can almost say getting a wii u was worth it.
Keeps proving me right that i got a Wii U. Fucking love Deus Ex HR.
