Dishonored, shot a crossbow bolt at an enemy which stuck him to the wall and while I went over to turn off the arc pylon it said I needed a key, then I realized "oh shit he has the key". What was the problem here? He was right by the arc pylon, which if I got next to would electrocute my ass. Thankfully I eventually got it with Daud's blink which basically stops time when you're getting ready to aim it which was a godsend, only took a few tries So, what are you most embarrassing video game moments? :v:
i didn't know how to kill that one boss at the beginning of dark souls so i just never played again
I never got past the first 5 minutes of Cave Story because I never figured out how to get out of that area. I also never got past the first level of The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask.
When playing CIV 4, not doing so good, then getting that report showing where you are economically. RAINEKO, the Pathetic. :suicide:
Actually embrasing moment: I was producing weird sounds while playing a Jazz Jackrabbit game. That wouldn't be a problem but... [sp]there was a chick sitting next to me, it was embarrassing when i realized she was staring at me[/sp]
I have never beaten Super Mario Bros. Also, I play on easy in a lot of games.
who the fuck gets embarrassed while playing video games wth
who the fuck gets embarrassed while playing video games wth
someone who has people to get embarrassed in front of i.e. friends
I was up all night trying to do that train mission on San Andreas. The next day a friend came over and beat that mission on the first try, only ever playing san andreas a couple of times before.
While playing Dragons Dogma I didn't realize until I was lvl 20 that you could buy armor and weapons instead of just finding them.
Every time I can't continue the game because I don't know what to do when the thing necessary to advance is right in front of me. I'm looking at you, Twilight Princess.
I died to the first enemy in YS 1 On easy Fucking bump combat
I took a friends controller to my little brothers friends house to play some xbox, the little shit got mad he was losing and threw my friends controller against the wall, it didn't break but I punched his face pretty good. Not embarassing for me per se
In one of the first Skyrim puzzles. Got to the gate with the 3 animals so I went looking around for a good 20 minutes trying to find the animals on the wall like last time. Nope, puzzle answer is on the key.
Like all of Portal and Portal 2. "It's been half a fucking hour and you're still stumped, how hard can it be to get this box there? Maybe I should just give u-wait. waitasec. waitafuckinsec...*Foop*, *fwomp*...that was it? that was the solution? Oh my lord I must be retarded what the fuck man..."

Every time I'm the last one alive on my team in a FPS, with everyone else spectating me, I always manage to fuck up spectacularly. And you just know everyone else has been watching you, judging your every move. This is the sole reason I hate playing Counter Strike online.
Most of the time I play games solely because I enjoyed the fluff, Halo series is case in point. I love Halo's universe, know a ton about it and can talk about the games for ages, my friend assumed this made me GOOD at the game. We went on to swap back and forth playing rounds online. He'd get a death every 3 or so kills. I'd get a kill every 3 or so deaths. v:v:v [editline]24th July 2013[/editline] I want to just mention that I have gotten better and now go about 1 for 1... Which isn't great, but it's not 1 for 3.
Was a forest hunter in dark souls, invaded some dude. Was rolling around him all cool, waiting for an opening. Then I rolled straight off a cliff by accident and died.
I was playing Deathrun in TF2, I'm the only one left alive as Heavy, thought there was one last trap left but nope there is a hidden collapsing floor trap that activated when i walked on it and i fell into it, didn't even know that it was there and the whole server is laughing at me, probably the first time in a long while that I got angry at a video game before
Buying 2 boots in League of Legends after being really cocky in all-chat
TF2, during humiliation phase I tried to finish off a cornered spy from almost point blank. Much to my astonishment, somehow by simply jumping in place he avoided getting hit by a single pellet from my scattergun, survived and wrote "terrible aim" in chat afterwards. Meh.
I guess for me it would be in Pokemon Red, i was trying to figure out how to catch a Pokemon before turning in Oak's Parcel, so i thought the Pokeballs that informed you of how many Pokemon you had not fainted/affected by a status was the amount of balls you had. Either that i surprisingly not got poisoned until the Lavender-Fuchsia journey, suddenly i thought i was being sniped by Team Rocket grunts, so i tried zigzagging on my bike but fainted, i was young at the time, plus the Gameboy was black&white (or green-tone if you want to be specific) the short shooty-sounding noises could've been mistaken for a gun of some sort.
When me and my friend were talking at Skype and played GTA IV and forgot that gamechat was on. If something glitches in a source game or mod when you cant continue anymore people takes up the console and takes suicide, and I cant for some reason take up the console so I always gets kicked out of the servers.
Breath Of Fire 2 Some point a good while in you have to go in some cave, which turns out to be [sp]a whale[/sp]. The entrance is blocked by a fence. For the life of me, I could not figure out how to get past the fence. I didn't have any sort of internet access back in 1995, so 4 weekend long rentals were wasted trying to figure out what to do. Eventually, I tried using [sp]Katt's on map ability to hit with her Bo Staff[/sp] and lo and behold it worked. I was dumbfounded that I hadn't thought to try that from the beginning, as well as how it couldn't be broken by Rand, the giant muscular armadillo dude.

Dota 2. I once chronosphered every single one of my allies as Faceless Void, then the enemy Witch Doctor plopped a Death Ward in the middle of it.
Playing Battlefield and friends and decided to be sniper. Found a good hiding spot in a bush that covered my player. I racked up 50+ kills and started pissing people off because they couldn't find me. Even though it was a deathmatch, a lot of people came on the mic. forging an alliance just to kill me. So now it's just me and around 10 other players that still have no idea where I am and I haven't moved for a good 20 minutes. I took a drink of my soda and burped right into the mic which I didn't know was on and the floating mic. logo above players heads is above the bush giving me away. *sigh*
I could never complete that one mission in gtasa where you had to pimp out a car then dance with it.
I couldn't complete one level in Psi Ops because I was scared by it. I got around to finishing it 2 years later. It took me 4 game sessions(as in 2 months) to figure out I was supposed to go to mission marker to start a mission, I somehow didn't realize what it was and I failed to comply to radar, I barely spoke English back then and it was my 1st GTA, so I just kind of assumed I was supposed to just roam around the city, it escalated when I shanked enough people in the beach to be able to buy a house to save in(I literally shanked people untill I got 10 000 out of them). I also couldn't complete flying school in SA(barrel roll), so I stopped playing it for 3 months. The next time I played it again, I got it in 1st time.
