Do any of you know of any rock-solid snapshot soft/hardware? I need it to avoid malware as well i.e. going back to a previous snapshot without carrying over malware from its current state.
I found this on DealExtreme: http://www.dealextreme.com/p/recoverystar-crash-recovery-pci-card-for-pc-2896 I honestly don't know how well it'd perform, and I don't know of any software that does this other than the default Windows one, which is infamous for carrying shit over. (OS is Windows 7) Thanks.
Umm, why dont you just get an antivirus or something and try to get rid of it? Malware antibytes or something.

I don't have malware, I just want a backup plan in case I get something really nasty.

You don't back up on the same computer, you back up on external storage. :V

I don't have enough external storage, I'd need around 600gb of it. Seriously, snapshots will be way easier, I just need someone to recommend a good method of utilizing them.

You don't back up your entire harddrive, just the important stuff. Leaving out windows vista should chop 20gb off that(yes im trolling)

Why are you whining? You don't have to back up your entire computer. If you read the thread(lolunintentionalrhyme), you would see I was giving alternative methods.
Hence his question about Snapshots duh.
