No update will bring me back. It was the best the first time I played it.
The supercharged worlds are kinda cool but I cant build anything that looks good so yeah havent really played much.
There is no other reason for them to take that long to fix bugs in a fucking JAVA game than sheer laziness. These people are lazy shits.
What are you talking about? They fix bugs with every update.
And introduce new ones sometimes.
And introduce new ones sometimes.
Like everyone else.
And introduce new ones sometimes.
Let me remind you that during its heyday of development, valve- a company that's quite large and wealthy- managed to send out an update for TF2- their main title at the time- which made the game have so many hats it made a map crash on load. Every time. Anyone can fuck up, and those fuck ups can come hard.
I love how the majority of the "change log" is technical bullshit that no one cares about.
I love how the majority of the "change log" is technical bullshit that no one cares about.
That's the point.
I love how the majority of the "change log" is technical bullshit that no one cares about.
It's a minor bugfix patch. What on earth were you expecting?
No update will bring me back. It was the best the first time I played it.
Mods There are cool modpacks that make the game feel fresh and new again like the feed-the-beast and technic ones
Mods There are cool modpacks that make the game feel fresh and new again like the feed-the-beast and technic ones
Minecraft not having multiplayer mod support is a dealbreaker IMO, and I mean natively, not through custom launchers like FTB. (I think there is some kind of modded server support, but every player that joins needs to have the mods installed or something). All I really want for them to do is to allow people to download mods from the server they're joining, kind of like Source game servers. I'm still waiting for them to finish their Mod API.

There's be so many inconsistencies and compatibility problems each time someone joined a server. It'd probably warrant a complete rewrite of the game imo.
