Well, today, when I shut off my laptop, it stated that it needed to install 3 updates before turning off. Ok, this is normal, I thought
Now, everytime I turn on my laptop, it states that it needs to "configure" the updates. Here's the problem. When it "configures", the percent is stuck at 0% for a few minutes, until it says:
"Update failed, reverting changes"
The sucky part is, every time I decide to turn off the laptop, it does the 3 updates again. And when I turn my laptop back on, it goes back to the 0% percent configure failure thing. This just happened today. The only change I've done from yesterday to today is install a printer. Is that the problem? Help please :[
Thanks.
EDIT: I'm using Windows 7 Home Home Premium x64 by the way.
Do the updates still fail when you install it when Windows is running? (Not when it's shutting down)
Could be worse. I run a Windows Server at my work. Sometimes it likes to freeze on "Update 3 of 3 - 0%". Which isn't good in a corporate environment.
