I am running a Sony Vaio Laptop. There is no separate numpad on the side, so when I turn on Num Lock, m is replaced with kp_0, . is replaced with kp_., / is replaced with kp_+, j is replaced with kp_1, k is replaced with kp_2, l is replaced with kp_3, ; is replaced with kp_-, u is replaced with kp_4, i is replaced with kp_5, o is replaced with kp_6, p is replaced with kp_*, [ is replaced with kp_enter, 7 is replaced with kp_7, 8 is replaced with kp_8, 9 is replaced with kp_9, and 0 is replaced with kp_/. Today, I bought a USB Numpad. When I turn on numlock to use the keypad, those keys are still replaced. How would I disable those replacements, so I can use my numpad and still use m, ., /, j, k, l, ;, u, i, o, p, [, 7, 8, 9, and 0?
Please I really need help.
I don't think you can as its a built-in function for the keyboard.
I figured that some registry editing would work, but I need to know where to look.
