today when i went into settings in my iphone, a really loud screeching sound came from the speaker. it only happens when i go into settings, and if i go to the home menu and go back to settings it wont screech again unless i put the phone on standby before going back into settings. the sound is extremely loud and isnt affected by me changing the volume. this just started happening today, its an iphone 3gs. this is seriously weird.
It is Apple telling you to buy an iPhone 4 using torture methods.
Have you tried restoring?
It's alive!
Restart it
Oil it.
Bath it.
Upload a video of this effect happening.
Eat it.
Swap it.
For a droid.
Its a design feature.

Avatar fits
First Apple will deny the problem.
Then they will tell you that you're holding it wrong.
They will then point out that every phone makes the same noise.
And then they will give you a soundproof case for it.
Planned obsolescence
it's the sound of your bits slowly rotting
imagine it
virtual faces melting, data corrputing, arms start to fall off
as they fall to the ground, knees and legs dissolved, the turn their head to the sky and let out a single mournful moan
SKREEEEEEEEEEEEE
The sounds of regret are never joyfull.
Uninstall twitter.
have you tried turning it off and on again?
