The title kind of worried me a little, it gave me the impression that the devs were saying something about how console gamers aren't smart enough to play the game or something, which would be kind of bad if you were one of those people and funded them.
But I read the article and it turned out that they're just not making a console version because they don't want it to have any effects on the PC version, which is fine and dandy.

Well they could develop it as a PC game and try making a decent console port later.
Ya know, like in good old times when everything was better and console gamers got games like GTA 2, Half-Life and Doom.
They actually said they were thinking of porting it to tablets, due to the controls being easy to do on that.
I sort of enjoy reading titles like this as opposed to: "PC port not coming, because you'll pirate it!".
The first one looks more boring than Fallout 1 and 2, I can't imagine any console gamers are going to lose sleep over this.
Good! Focus on the PC version.
