Ugh. I don't care how good the graphics are if it's going to be more boring corridor combat.
Go back to the wide-open areas of the first Crysis, please. And I want the massive levels from the first Crysis' multiplayer, too.
Really glad to see all the tech being incorporated into this title. Going back to the spirit of the first game, I love that. Won't play this for the game, just for it to be like a tech demo and see how well it runs.
It's free to play but they've got box art and everything?
F2P what?
Are you talking about Warface?

Tech trailer for the engine not Crysis 3 gameplay trailer.
Go back to the wide-open areas
Well, they do have some big areas in the interactive gameplay vid. (Bottom of the dam)
That top secret toad technology intrigues me.
I hate shacknews and their self-uploaded videos. If you want to show off tech, you show it in 1080p.
Here's the youtube one:

And it's a console game. This means there's going to be less wide-open areas because of the amount of stress it can put on a console. Not to mention the bigger load times it gives them.
I hate screaming "hurr consolization" but I can't think of another reason to make levels smaller with advancing technology.
Looks great and all but I am still not buying Crysis 3
Well, if they managed to put a large game like Crysis on consoles, I don't see why they can't make Crysis 3 the same size.
Looks great and all but I am still not buying Crysis 3
I'll hold off from buying it until it's been out for a while and the price has come down a bit.
I'll hold off until I see how it is on PC. Gotta be careful after what they did with crysis 2
Why did that trailer say Free-to-Play?
It looks way too visually cluttered IMO. There's really no point in having great tech like that if you're drowned in overblown fog, bloom and trees that look all the same and can barely identify what's important in the scene.
Why did that trailer say Free-to-Play?
Its talking about the engine, not so much Crysis 3...
Oh my god, that lens flare is as bad as it is in BF3.
What the fuck is up with devs these days, our eyes are not cameras.
inb4 "but he's wearing a visor!"
Kinda laughed at the "ONE WAY" sign. That is exactly how this game is going to play
No denying it looks gorgeous though, and will definitely be checking it out for that alone at least.

nope sorry gotta cater to consoles rolf

Cinematic experience. I think it all looks really cool.

Well he IS wearing a visor, but not one built of multiple lens elements so the kind of lens flare used doesn't make much sense.
Who gives a fuck.
Real-time area lights are cool — and something I'd like to see in more games — the rest seems kinda superfluous
looks like narrow depth of field is the new trend for 2012
at least i know how nearsighted people feel now

No just went by what was said in the trailer.
But this makes sense:

I am near sighted and this is not how we feel. We feel pissed about the DoF :v:
Maybe the protagonist in C3 is near sighted, now that's a twist.
So when do we get Gmod on cryengine
