Dead Island is a solid action RPG and you can easily get $8 worth of gameplay out of it.
Not game of the year, but worth trying I think.
DLCs aren't really worth anything though.
Dead Island was one of top 5 favorite games last year. Easily worth the $8.

Use the tool to fix shit like the FOV being stuck at 60, the overuse of bloom, the character bobbing, the blur. This is the only game that has made me feel so sick I needed to stop playing it.
Choplifter HD and Toy Soldiers are pretty damn fun.

It wasn't great, but it's EASILY worth 3$.
Thinking of getting Mirror's Edge on Gamefly, but is it DRM free, or do you have to make an account/download a Gamefly program etc just to play it? If so, I'll just wait for a sale on Steam.

For the record that game wasn't very good either, I don't even know how I managed 8 hours in it.

I would highly recommend Sleeping Dogs, its just awesome
Kinda tempted by Dead Island, tried it round a friends and found the single player cheesy and annoying but co-op was cool
Any reason it's $8 (£4.99) for US and £8 ($12.80) in UK? Any way to get it at that price?
