• Best free Anti-virus software?

So AVG made me upgrade to their new trial antivirus, and my time limit ran out. Now I am in search of a new Anti-virus software, any suggestions?
Avast5. I ahve NEVER gotten infected (proven by multiple mbam scans).
I use Avast, it's served me well for quite a while now.
Thanks guys, I'll definitely check it out.
AntiVirus 2010.
AVGfree is quite good but I don't know if it's the best one.
Also get sandboxie to run anything that you think might be risky. [editline]14th November 2010[/editline] Not a anti-virus, but still.
Antispyware Soft is the best one. you can get it from google
I think the general consensus is either Avast, Comodo, or Microsoft Security Essentials
Avast because of the free pirate voice.
I use Kaspersky because it's very easy to use, has lots of functionality, very easy to disable certain parts if you need to, and has extremely frequent virus database updates. Edit: (Kaspersky Internet Security 2009-2011) (Not the other versions of it.)
Malwarebytes is nice, Avast was good at keeping the viruses away, when the trial ran out it got really annoying and bugs me every hour about paying for it. I'm gonna uninstall it when i am bothered to.
I have avira...

AVG Doesn't provide you with good protection, not even normal protection.
