TBH It doesn't take much to invalidate the Ouya.
The PlayStation TV also beats it.
Interesting little device, although I see no reason to get one of these when there's so many other more robust and accessible HTPCs around. Android TV does look stellar though - maybe when paired with such things like smartwatch integration that reminds you your favorite show is coming on it'll be more worth it (I suppose that'd require more proper integration to your TV instead of an external console though, something akin to Xbone's DVR system?).
Also I find the idea of using a gamepad for Android games really dumb. I mean, I understand the appeal of playing games on the TV but with the Google Play Store having really limited amount of proper gamepad-supported games as it is (all I can think of is GTA) I don't see the setup being worth it. The disaster that was the OUYA showed that Android gaming should stick to the tablets and the phone for now.
