I want a suitable card for ~200$ before taxes, as well as a power supply to support it. I have an AMD Athlon Quad Core 2.8 Ghz. 6 GB of DDR3 ram, and a very small power supply ( 350? ). I bought a premade PC because the store screwed me over with the warranty, but that's a different story. I am looking for a good card for video gaming, one that hopefully has DX11 support, and does not cost a small fortune, as well as a PSU that will fit in my store bought case. I'd love your help facepunch. Oh, right now I have a 8600 BFG, which is more or less ancient. Help me out :)
Can you find out the model of your motherboard?
edit:
Or you can tell us what computer you have.
And, are you American or Canadian?
What is your screen resolution, OP?

The GTS 450 may suit your need as well

or the GTX 460 768MB version
"store bought" doesn't give us any information, we need to know if the case is regular sized, thin, tiny/mITX etc.

assuming they will actually fit,

I heard the Corsair CX 430W was pretty bad compared to Corsair CX 400W, which is better
CX400W is made at Seasonic factory while CX430W is made from cheap components at some unknown factory.
the OEM for the 430 seems to be CWT which are also used for some others from corsair (nearly half of theirs), but I'm not seeing a lot of positive responses to it
I'd recommend the CX400 but it seems it was replaced by the 430, makes me sad as I'm using a CX400 now and not only was it corsair but it was better for the price than anything else I could get
OP get http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341016 instead, $10 more but you'll have better upgradability with the extra power and PCI-E cable
i would get http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151094
but I suppose the modular nature of the ModXStream would be better suited for his cramped space.
If I were to google instructions on how to install a PSU would I find a good guide? It's my first time doing it.
if it's bottom mount it's even easier, all you do is stick it down in there, then screw it in from the back of the case
