looking for movies that take place in ancient Rome or Greece (aka 2000-3000 years ago) looking well done and big budget film's with a good story I have seen
(some of these I might not find to be to have great story but there still BlockBustr Flims)
Gladiator (this one came from the gods)
300
alexander
Troy
Great OP, 10/10.
And there aren't really that many films. Sure there's some really older ones but not too many recent ones. Hollywood is too busy with shitty comedy and dramas right now, along with the History channel and its Ancient Aliens and Swamp people.
......
You pretty much named all the ones done recently. You could try television series instead like Rome or Spartacus: Blood and Sand

Yeah, I highly recommend Rome. It was a series on HBO. Can rent it... or I'm sure it's on Netflix or something.
Spartacus is definitely one of my favorites AND it was directed by Stanley Kubrick.
