The title isn't really accurate. "Planets never seen in the films" isn't true if that's only a single planet. This article makes it seem like there's going to be several different planets other than the 3 the article mentions - no, there's 4 of them total (not including the day-1 DLC). Hoth, Sullust, Endor and Tatooine are all there is.
compared to the first two, this is pathetic. but i realise that if the first two titles were to be released now, we'd be looking at the same thing. DLC's the standard now, and if we continue to feel entitled to more content, then we're just going to be disappointed. i'm just hoping the pack's will be priced cheaper than what we see in the Battlefield series.
The lack of variety is disappointing but 12 maps seems alright.

People forget how much more work needs to go into a modern game to get the amount of content we had a decade ago. The amount of polygons that made up entire levels in those games is what we use now on a prop.
