This isn't as much a question thread, more of a "what the hell broke question".
It appears either the CPU or the motherboard died, seeing as the computer is about 3-4 ish years old now it might have.
The strange thing is it lost power after a small nudge (like a small accidental tap on the case, it shut down instantly) and now the power button for startup seems useless.
PSU is sending power, I've tested that. I've taken out the motherboard and jury rigged it to the PSU and startup cables from the case to make sure there are no conflicts, the only things on the motherboard are the RAM and CPU + cooler (I'm testing it with onboard graphics, not that it matters). No sign of life from the board.
Now I need to find out if the CPU is broke, or the board is bust. How do I check this or is there something else going on? (Either way I was looking to upgrade but at this point I just might buy a whole new system :v:)
