I'm trying to watch movies using WMP, and I can hear music and background noises but I cant hear the actors talking. I know it's not the disk because when I press play theres a snipit and I can hear them just fine. Any ideas?
If you don't know what stereo sound is, it's where a different sound comes out of the speaker to your left, and the one to your right. Most movies use stereo sound these days. The movie you're watching might have the actors' voices coming out of the left speaker, for example, and the music coming out of the right. If this is so, and if your left speaker was not working, then you'd only hear the music. Use this site to check your stereo sound setup. If either sound doesn't play, the problem is either with your speakers or with your connections. Try turning the audio plug in the computer.
Maybe your sound is only coming out one speaker? Maybe the voices are supposed to come out the left speaker, for example, but the music is coming out the right? If so, and if the left speaker didn't work, then you would only hear the music. Oh well then I dunno
It could actually be the language. Try messing with that, otherwise, it might just be corrupted.
:| Media center works, the fuck?
Dialouge goes in center, you may have your setup thinking it needs to output surround somewhere. Check your settings.
