I need help recording PS3 gameplay. I don't want to pay 50 bucks on a Dazzle or EasyCap or some crap like that. I have a capture card in my computer but I still need a 20 ft cable to get from their to my T.V.(Across the room). I have also tried using a camera, but the quality really sucks. I also tried to hook up my camera to the AV cables to record from that, turns out my camera doesn't have AV in. So any suggestions would be nice.
So buy the cable?
shit snip bad reading
You're going to need to spend money anyway, get a cable. Recording it with your camera is for 13ry olds who want to put their "UBER AWSUM" montage to Linkin Park.

I friend of mine says he does it by recording it on a DVD player :/
Just get the cable. And don't get a crap one (cables tend to get crap after a certain amount of length)
You need a capture card that supports recording from HDMI in. Anything else will look like shit.
buy a new video cam ffs
Capture cards always have much superior quality althought if your outputting through HDMI then you need to ensure that its HDCP compatible or some outputs won't be recorded.
He doesn't even wanna pay 50 bux for a standard definition card.
