56p per megabyte is still a fucking rip-off. If anyone here lives in the UK, I'd strongly recommend Giff Gaff. I got it around a month ago, and I haven't been let down since. Truly unlimited (unless you're torrenting gigabytes of films via tethering) internet and texts, and 250 mins, for £10 a month. That is what all phone companies should be aiming for.
I'm abroad here in Tenerife and even though I use GG at home, I'm finding it difficult with the ridiculous call charges while here. Its 35p a minute to make a call. 15p a min to receive. And £1.50 per mb for data although that ain't a problem with me as I have wifi. The unlimited data was a godsend in the airport where I was getting full HSDPA+ at 4mb speeds. Was on Skype for a few hours. Better speed than my home internet which is embarrasing. Call charges are really bad while abroad though.
