Basically, they got sued out of their asses, and now need more money.
But yeah, ARK for me has been the prime example of "early access done wrong." Game still runs like shit for me on any setting (despite my GTX 970 being able to run High according to them), and now they're releasing spin offs and DLCs before the game is even finished.
Why can't we just have one good dinosaur themed survival game that isn't a massive scam?
