What the hell, Apple? You save my notes and my contacts but you fuck my 500 or so songs and about 50 videos. God-damn it. Anyone know a way to get them back?
I think that happens when you change your firmware/restore.
I heard that there were backups or something saved automatically. Is this even true?

where are the backups again
What in the name of fuck are you using besides iTunes? Whenever I add a video to my library it STAYS there. Same with any songs I have. If I restore my phone, they're still in the iTunes Library on my PC, so I just go to the options on the iPhone and choose to sync everything back. [editline]01:43AM[/editline] Same thing doesn't apply to images, but that's why I always move any new picture I have from my iPhone to a folder on my PC.
It gives you a warning that it will delete all your media before updating. Read.
yeah it backs up before it installs just go into file>library>import playlist. i think thats how but maybe not.
Just sync with iTunes?
Apple stopped backing up media a while ago
