Better Power Supply and Card - Acer Aspire X1200

My father is a gamer and bought the Acer Aspire X1200 to play his games on. He plays L4D 2, WoW and such, and generally they play with low performance and hardware lag.

He wants a better power supply and a better card, but doesn't want to get a new case.

Can you guys help me? I'm sadly very uneducated in this department and can't help him as much as he demands.

so he bought a nigh un-upgradable system with hardware nowhere near capable for the task he bought it for?

I've tried, upgrading these isn't worth it at all

the MoBo is mounted upside down as well so any card you manage to fit in there is stuffed against the top and will probably overheat in minutes
