Are you with a hosting company or running your own server?
hosting server, my bro and I are trying to play on GMod and he has the sql running on his PC ( WAMP ) win 7 64 bit, and I get a black screen connecting. I told him we need to find a SQL that is on the web that is sorta like freesqldatabase
What do you need SQL for on a GMod server?
Sounds like you could have a range of problems. Is it local or over the internet?
If local, try Hamachi.
If internet, check port forwarding.
I'm trying to use SQL for darkrp so it'll be putting in users in the SQL. I join with a black screen and yes, it is local, but LAN should work too? It usually works on the internet, but I guess LAN makes it act differently.
