• Large Scale Online FPS Games

I've not bought a new game for a little while and I'm bored of playing the Battlefield games online, the experience is the same every time. I'm not looking for an MMOFPS, I've done the Planetside thing and loved it but don't want to ruin good memories by re-installing it and playing what is a shadow of the former game. I'm after a similar experience of a large scale FPS game, battles consisting of hundreds of troops, a good team-work attitude and generally fun to play. I'm not fussed about the era, WW2, modern day or futuristic are all enjoyable to me. So long as it has a decent size player base with enough servers. What do you recommend? Also, I tried the Armed Assualt games and it was just too long-winded, fun but not something you can really pick up and play for 20 minutes.
I hope you have a PS3, since MAG'll be the largest scale online fps for a while.
MAG seemed pretty cool from what I saw, but the actual shooting looked kind of stiff. I hope that's fixed before release.
Yeah, MAG has 156 player battles (or something like that). It will be one of the biggest scale online games for at least a few years.
