Why does apple give away free shit on thier computers?

I remember getting marbleblast gold on an old iMac G5 I had
My mom's macbook came with comic life

and there are always a few random mp3 files on the comptuers

Looking in the youtube comments it seems it happens to other people as well
(but my .mp3s weren't this epic :P )
