• Upgrading to a decent PC

So I'm a gamer, and due to having an old-ass PC I've mainly been playing on the Xbox. Now, though, I'm about to get a top-of-the-line $1200 custom built computing machine, and I'm wondering what some of the best PC exclusives I've been missing out on are. I've kept up with Indie/classic PC gaming, and anything with low system requirements, but I've missed out on all the blockbusters due to my crappy AGP graphics, insufficient RAM, etc. What should I be catching up on?
I was in the same situation once, it blew my mind when I got my new computer. Imagine going from integrated graphics to a Geforce 7900 GS. You should try out: Mass Effect series Half Life 2 and assorted mods Portal/Portal 2 Team Fortress 2 Crysis (just try it for the graphics) Magicka Civilization V Left 4 Dead 2 GTA IV Some of those aren't PC exclusives, but are definitely best played on a powerful PC. Plus I missed out like a million great games, those are just a select few which I enjoyed. Welcome to the world of PC gaming.
Welcome to the glorious master race, now go use your PC to argue on forums instead of actually playing games. On topic, the STALKER games are on sale on steam right now, grab it while it hot.
PC exclusives? Starcraft 2.
Imagine going from integrated graphics to a 570 :byodood: What i'm gonna do tomorrow. 15FPS on minimum -> 80FPS on max plox?
Battlefield 3 is getting released later this year and from the looks of it, it's going to be the new Crysis.

Oh, new request, good PC games that I can play online with my new and old computers. Coop or 1v1 type games preferred.
