For my Starcraft II machine, my cpu and ram etc are all plenty to run on ultra, but not sure about gpu. Is this good enough? I just need a 1gb card to use ultra texture resolution and fancy terrain and lighting.
that should do you good. Starcraft doesn't have intense graphics.
I would get nvidia since it's the only thing that can do anti-aliasing.

It is blizzard, they can't optimize for shit.
Blizz has been running on the same graphics for years now. Just look at WoW. Same graphics over 5 years.

Ehm, ATI released a Beta of CCC with AA for Starcraft2 a week or so ago.
