Can't smile in faceposer?

Here's a more detailed description of my problem in faceposer

Here's my problem, I want Dr.Breen to smile, with flex animation. So I make a new channel called flex, then I right click on that channel, and choose flex animation, then I make it like 5 seconds long, goes into the flex animation tab, makes some keyframes where he smiles a little bit, then stops smiling, with some head tilting as well. Then I save, and extract the files from hl2/scene to Garrysmod/scene. When I play off the animation, the only thing Dr.Breen does is head tilting. Can someone explain me what I did wrong?

Perhaps talk to your doctor about being prescribed an anti-depressant?
