HP laptop with HDMI Outoput how do I play PS3 on it.

Hi I have a HP with a HDMI ( pretty sure it's output ) Laptop how do I get it work with useing it's screen for a ps3.

you have to turn the cable upside down so it turns the output HDMI into an input HDMI

HDMI ports for laptops are exclusively to project the screen onto a larger one like a TV if I'm not mistaken.

Google search what "output" means, first.

You can't, if it's an output it can only connect to a TV or a display. Only capture cards (not graphics cards) with HDMI have an "HDMI input". If you want to use your PS3 on your computer's display then it's gonna be complicated, as you can probably only use a capture card, be it HDMI or not.
