....and?
Valve get respect from me for it. They best release some new games soon, though.
Valve supports their games, who'da thunk it?
This isn't exactly news is it? It's common freaking knowledge.
As most people are aware, but clearly not PCGamesN, only TF2 is actively supported in a gameplay standpoint. The other games just happen to be sharing the same game engine, and are therefore benefiting from engine changes made primarily for TF2.
I can't wait until PCGamesN is gone.
Can we just delete or permaban this news bot or something? PCGamesN hasn't produced anything worth making a thread about in the longest time.
To expand on what I mean by this - you'd have to be living under a fucking rock without an internet connection for the past seven years to not know that CS:S, DOD:S, and HL2:DM still get updates at least once every few weeks. They're still very popular games, and therefore still need updates when problems arise. Maybe, just maybe, it's because Valve still cares? Who would've thought? But the point is that everyone already knows these games get updated regularly. No need for an article to remind us of that fact.
Update for DOD:S and HL2:DM, my aching sides.
Thats like saying Valve updates Tf2.
...wait

CSGO and DOTA2 kinda are too. Not as much as tf2 but they get some updates. Like CSGO got a new pistol not so long ago.
Hopefully they don't break everything like the HL2 update did.

That's not true; in you look at the "In the News Node" forum, you'll see that the threads with the most ratings on the first page are all PCGamesN threads.
Besides, we have to get our news from somewhere. Good thing I'm checking other sources, because the news bots tend to skip a lot of interesting news as it is.
How is this remotely news? Please rid us of this stupid bot.
Bot pls go.
Woah i didn't know that! /s
PCGN is a good example of game news site that had great potential but went downhill with poor writing and bloody stupid articles.

I wish they still cared for Day of Defeat :c
They only have bad articles every once in a while, chill out and ignore the bad ones
They only have bad articles every once in a while, chill out and ignore the bad ones
The frequency is growing at an alarming rate though. It feels like every 3rd one is sub-par.
Why are the only updates coming out for Source games are the ones that are basic engine fixes and aren't updates that fix proper bugs?
No shit, SherlockN

I feel like they support the wrong games at the wrong times.
Sure, it's not like they are releasing many updates for CSS/TF2/L4D2 and none for CSGO or Dota, but there are possibly thousands of bugs in Dota, and they release bug fixes every blue moon for it. And we're talking about Dota, where the slightest bug goes viral and the whole game gets messed up.
Same goes for CSGO, which I ALSO think they did a not-so-great job at netcoding and balancing. It runs very well, but so many goddamn times do I miss more than half of a whole mag on someone at point blank range and they kill me first. And meanwhile, people run around with P90's and 5.7's shooting the shit out of everyone.

p90s are easy to counter if you know what youre doing
Fixed the skybox on 3rd party maps when using certain sky materials
Why on earth did it take Valve an entire year to fix this? Also demosmoother is still broken since last year: still puts awsd into tick fields when "drive" mode is enabled, also saving a demosmoothed file does not work if you load a .dem file from the demoui (only seems to work if you load the .dem from command line).
so much sand in vaginas.
PCGamesN articles tend to have the most posts and replies and discussion. They do have these really horrible posts which are just stroking the cock of PC gamers. But the articles do spark some decent conversations in this subsection.
I don't think the bot needs to go, but I would assume even the readers of PCGamesN should be thinking, "Really, this is fucking stupid."
If you wanna get rid of PCGN you might as well get rid of the rest news bots like RPS and Shack since they're all about the same quality. Theirs pretty much no high quality video game news sites.
We had CSNation awhile ago which was probably the best one but Zips was a asshole and he started makin clickbait articles every week
PCGamesN the dailymail of the gaming world.

Try to counter them when they go BRRRRR each time they come out of a corner.
It's still no excuse for such a broken mess of a gun when the game is all about precision.
