well, you cant sell old games on a new console I guess, so this should be good.
Right guys?
well that means the games can't be over five years old
This is quite interesting. The whole games for gold has so far been really old games or arcade titles. So maybe they are planning to increase the game value that they can give out?
Got to wonder if this includes launch titles. As cool as it is to not pay for DR3 if it gets added, it would be REALLY dumb as hell at the same time.

I highly doubt they would undermine their newest game's sales by making it free so soon.
Microsoft has been targeting older titles and less known ones for a while now, I don't see them changing that model any time soon.

Seems to be done on a meta critic average than age. I know PS+ does (only 70+ on metacritic) so I wouldn't be surprised if Xbox did the same only with a higher level to ensure this "quality games" nonsense.

Why is that?
Digital downloads are apparently the hip new thing so I don't see why they can't/wouldn't have ported things over.
Xbone has no backwards compatibility.
I've suspect that many developers are working on Xbone versions of their games, especially bigger Arcade devs. We might see some recent XBLA titles free on Xbone.
