• Is the Motorola Defy any good?

You know i had the same old Cellphone for like 2 or 1 years and it's time for something new, so i need to know more about this phone
Not really, unless you absolutely need something that's waterproof and will be dropped constantly

So, if you can afford better, get something else.
If you're gonna get a SMARTphone and you're gonna be stuck with it, at least get a decent smartphone. It's like going out to buy a Rolex but buying the cheapest one you can find. If you just need a phone, a decent feature phone with a keyboard is enough.
My friend owns a Defy and it was one of the laggiest things I've ever witnessed Not everybody should have to root to get the most out of their phone, I'm sure most people would be more content just finding a phone that works well out of the box (which the Defy doesn't really)

Besides, in my opinion, keeping a phone stock is a bit....boring. If I wanted something that "just worked" out of the box, I would have bought the iPhone.
