Seems a bit redundant, but it's not really a feature I could look at as negative in any way anyways. Well unless it adds to the workload and resources Steam takes since for many it seems to be bloated and unoptimized enough in that respect already.
From having skimmed it, this sounds neat.
it's kind of inconvenient that it forces you to go through big picture mode. hopefully they provide us with more ways to use this. having spotify integration in the standard shift+tab overlay would be really cool.
Sounds interesting enough. Quite a few times I've wanted to listen to music or something while playing a game. However, after going through both iTunes and Google Play, I'm not really looking forward tto organizing another library.

It's not exclusive to Big picture.
-snip, beaten to it-

Heck, I think it's only a matter of time before Valve gets in on the smartphone market, and if that happens (and if I can afford one) I'd take a Steamphone any day of the week
The fact that Steam already takes about 29 - 30% of my RAM I doubt I really needed this stacked ontop of that.. :suicide:
from a UI perspective, it looks well integrated into the Big Picture Mode, but a desktop might be nice. hopefully it doesn't notify someone "x is listening to Bitches Ain't Shit by Dr. Dre"
