Second how does one receive Gold Member status?
Gold member, changes to another person's title, and name changes have been removed from the store. There is currently no way to get Gold Member, [del]unless your account is five years old and you have over 100 posts.[/del]
Also, the typo is intentional.

post count and account age dont contribute to gold anymore, boostar was the only way to get it before it was removed

There used to be a mod nomination years ago, but there really haven't been any "new mods."
To become a mod you have to sacrifice a cat and smear the blood on your chest while chanting to Garry and then you will become encircled in hellfire and the ritual begins. You must make it through the three trials, if you make it out alive, you become a moderator and rise to a higher state of being, like a god. If not, you suffer eternal damnation and the ridicule of all the gold members.
