• Computer Specs? (Poll)

I thought it'd be nice to find out the general computer specs of the average Facepuncher. Does everybody really have an i7, or is everybody just running a mediocre dual core? Let's find out.
I guess you could form it into a online questionnaire with these type of choices: CPU Brand, CPU Type (Quad, Dual, Single, other) Type of RAM, Amount of RAM, GPU Manufacturer (Nvidia, ati, matrox, etc) Hardrive space, monitor/res, and operating system. Then using the power of excel, figure out the average.
The poll I made doesn't go into great detail about most things, I'd just like to see how far behind the world I am with my specs.
x4 955BE with 2x5770's. I wouldn't really call them "lowend", but I suppose they are.
Core 2 Duo E4400 2.0GHz ATI Radeon HD 2400
Intel i3 540 Processor. Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD
E8400 3.0 ghz stock, oc'd to 3.8 HD 5850
I have a Xeon, and a GeForce 9500GT. :saddowns: [editline]9th November 2010[/editline] 3.4Ghz Xeon Single Core
1.6GHz Atom and Integrated Graphics yea! Or 1.6GHz Pentium M and 128MB ATi 9600M? Either way first choice.
Intel E8500 @ 4.2GHz and 5770 I'm glad it didn't ask about RAM I've been on 2gb for a while now, my netbook has more :(
Would a 9600M GS count as "high-end" or "low-end"? I consider it middle-end - it's better than an integrated, but it's not massively powerful.
Quad core, high-end graphics card. Q6600 and 5870.
Athlon II X2 240 @ 3.5GHz. 4gb ram and a 4770 Motherboard's holding me back from 4GHz :saddowns::arghfist: [editline]9th November 2010[/editline] Oh and I put as dual-core, low end graphics card
Should have included mid-range GPUs on that list. I wouldn't call a GTX 460 low end, but it isn't exactly high end.
Six cores or higher. 1055T + GTX 275
Dual-core + high-end graphics card. E8400 + GTX 460.
Six cores or higher. 1055T + GTX 275
Should've waited for the price drop. the 1090T is only $225 now
Selected low-end GPU due to the fact that I don't think mine is very strong, and only has 512MB of VRAM. I can only run Gmod (just as an example) on maxed settings at 30 FPS... I don't think that's very sophisticated. Edit: CPU runs at 3.2GHz
E8500 2x Ati4870 1gb (Crossfire) 4Gb ddr3 [editline]9th November 2010[/editline]
[img_thumb]http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h36/kenenora/aaaaa.png[/img_thumb] Selected low-end GPU due to the fact that I don't think mine is very strong, and only has 512MB of VRAM. Seeing as there seems to be a RAM consumer magnet.
q9400@2.66 and a 9800 gt. It's not really low end but it's closer to that than high-end I would say.
I suppose this is a pre-built? Seeing as there seems to be a RAM consumer magnet.
1: Foxconn motherboard 2: Integrated graphics 3: 8GB of RAM 4: 1TB WD Caviar Green So of course, it is.
phenom ii x2 555 be @3.7ghz 4gb ddr2 800mhz 512mb 4830 (dead) 500gb wd hdd
Where should the line go for the GPUs? By low-end I suppose you really mean low-end GPUs and not just low-end gaming card, so I picked high-end for my 4830.

My first custom build. I love it.
1: Foxconn motherboard 2: Integrated graphics 3: 8GB of RAM 4: 1TB WD Caviar Green So of course, it is.
Not integrated. Least, I don't think so. But yes, It is a fucking prebuilt. Whoop-te-doo. I suck, I'm illiterate because I couldn't build my own desktop. (I'm pissed right now if you couldn't tell. Edit: Not at any of you, mind you. More so at my own stupid mistake elsewhere.)
What is an HD4850 now, low end?
No love for tri cores </3
AMD Phenom 2 X4 955 BlackEdition 3.2GHz 4GB Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1600MHz 9-9-9-24 500GB Hitachi Deskstar 7K100C SATA ioMega 500GB external USB Gigabyte GA-MA785GMT-UD2H AMD 785G nVidia GeForce 9600GT Emprex LM-2204 22" 1680x1050 16:10 TFT LCD Monitor 5ms I'm quite happy with this, it plays most games on or near maximum.
no mid range?
